GREAT! HOW DID IT ALL START?
The first commercially sold water balloon was produced by Edgar Ellington. He was trying to produce a waterproof sock to cure a disease called “trench foot”. The design of the first version of a “balloon” was an ordinary cotton sock coated with latex. However it has been shown that the natural elasticity of the material caused practical problems in the implementation … The sock filled with water began to leak from the vessel and a frustrated Ellington threw a water balloon on his desk .. … and was delighted in the feeling !! Thus… WBC was born | I’ll see you on the west coast of Jarun !!!
Australia is a country that occupies the continent of Australia, the Tasmanian Island, and many smaller islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans on Earth’s southern hemisphere. The team from Australia is tweaked and launched the most amusing initiative ever, which grew into a real challenge. The team gathered on the shores of Coogee Beach’s ready for the biggest fight. Yes, 22.04.2006 at Coogee Beach in Australia began the current world record for the biggest water balloon fight. It is a game in which there are no winners and the only goal is to throw all water balloons and get wet (fun)! The challenge was attended by 2,921 people and dumped 55,000 water balloons. Congratulations to the Australians on the achieved result and fallen record!
What followed in the next few years, on the stage of the demolition of World Records to fight water balloons will leave you breathless; but first things first. The next major event occurred in 2008 in Kentucky.
